Accounts Receivable Specialist

This position is responsible for reporting and recovering the consigned third party sales on behalf of RxCrossroads' clients.
Collects revenue by contacting customers via phone to inquire on payment status and/or investigate reason for payment differences.
Processes large volumes of chargeback/other pricing adjustment transactions.
Identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing accounts receivable reports.
Investigates and resolves payment discrepancies with client's customers. Follows up to ensure resolution.
Documents status of payment and reason for non-payment.
Accurately identify, manually post, and balance self-pay cash receipts to multiple billing systems observing daily deadlines and utilizing Central Applications and various bank websites
Accurately process, post, and balance credit card receipts and bank draft/chargebacks to multiple billing systems observing daily deadlines and utilizing Central Applications and various bank websites

Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum Experience Required:
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required (except where noted as preferred): Ability to
express ideas clearly both written and oral communications.

read and interpret documents such as invoices, accounts receivable reports, bills of lading, etc.
write routine reports and correspondence.
speak effectively before groups/ customers or employees of organization.
calculate and determine amounts such as discounts and percentages.

solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
Physical Demands:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
